What it does
What SplitTabs does
SplitTabsBot keeps a running expense ledger for a Telegram group so nobody has to reconstruct who paid for what. Add expenses as they happen, and the bot works out who owes whom with the fewest possible payments.
Everything lives in the group's own ledger — balances, an undo for the last entry, a clear to reset, and a CSV export for Pro groups that want a record outside Telegram. The group also gets an automatic weekly balance summary every Sunday.

Privacy
What the bot stores
From the bot's own privacy notes.
Each group's ledger is stored per chat: a
groupsrow (title, Pro flag, currency, language, last /nudge time, whether the tip was shown),members(handles seen in the chat), and anexpensesrow per entry (payer, amount, description).No banking or payment details are ever stored — /settle only calculates and displays a settlement plan; it doesn't record or move real money.
Data is scoped to the group chat it was entered in; /clear wipes that group's ledger.

Questions about SplitTabs
Does SplitTabsBot actually move money between people?
No — it only tracks who owes whom. /balance and /settle just display numbers; no real money moves through Telegram.
What's the difference between /balance and /settle?
/balance shows each person's net balance (who's owed, who owes). /settle takes that further and shows the minimal settlement — the smallest set of transfers that clears every balance, rather than everyone paying everyone.
Can I undo a mistaken entry?
Yes, /undo removes the most recently added expense. For a full reset, /clear wipes the whole ledger.
What does Pro add for a group?
