Can anyone in the group see who has who?

No. Matches are sent by private message to each participant only. The group chat never sees the pairing.

Who can run /draw, /exclude and /redraw?

Only the organizer: the person who ran /santa. That is not always a group admin. /exclude and /redraw need Pro.

Can couples be kept from drawing each other?

Yes, with Pro for the group. The organizer runs /exclude @alice @bob before the draw, and those two are never matched.

What if someone has not started a chat with the bot?

They cannot be matched, because the bot cannot send them their match. Ask everyone to open the bot and press Start before you run /draw.

How long is our data kept?

Participants, matches and wishlists are kept until the exchange date plus 30 days, then deleted. The organizer can delete them sooner with /santa end.

What does Pro cost?

150 Telegram Stars, once, for the whole group. It adds more than 10 participants, /exclude and /redraw.
