What it does

What Nudge does

NudgeRemindBot keeps reminders inside Telegram instead of a separate app. Tell it what to remember and when, and a 1-minute background check delivers the message to the chat you set it in — a group or your DM with the bot.

It understands several ways of describing time and stores your timezone once with /tz, so 'tomorrow at 9' means the same thing every time you use it.

Privacy

What the bot stores

From the bot's own privacy notes.

  • Each reminder is stored as a row with your user id, chat id, the reminder text (body), fire time, and repeat interval, so the 1-minute cron can find and deliver it.

  • Your Telegram user id, username, timezone offset, and Pro status are stored in a users row.

  • Reminder text is only ever sent back to the chat it was created in.

FAQ

Questions about Nudge

What time formats does /remind accept?

Relative ("in 2h", "in 1h30m"), "at 19:00" today or tomorrow, "tomorrow 19:00", a weekday like "fri 19:00", or a full date like "2026-09-10 19:00", all read in your saved /tz offset.

Does it work in group chats or only DMs?

Both — run /remind in a group and the reminder is delivered back to that group; run it in your DM with the bot and it's delivered there.

Can I snooze a reminder after it fires?

Yes — the delivered reminder carries a Snooze button with a few preset delays; tapping it reschedules the same reminder.

What happens if I don't set /tz?

Times are interpreted as UTC until you set an offset with /tz, so times will be off from your local clock.

How many reminders can I have on the free tier, and what does Pro cost?

5 active reminders at once. /pro removes that cap and adds daily repeating reminders, either as a one-time 150 Stars payment or a 100 Stars/month subscription.
